At the beginning of my career, I painted many commissioned works that often depicted famous figures.

At the same time, my first role model in painting was the surrealist Salvador Dali.

Here I have combined Dali and Donald, where it is Donald himself who melts instead of a clock as in Dali's ''Persistence of Memory''.

The painting symbolizes a crossroads in my career where I want to focus more on producing my own works rather than commissions.
